Earlier this year I had a story – At The Beginning Rather Than The End – shortlisted in the Bridport Prize. It’s a big deal. The Bridport Prize is one of the most prestigious contests out there. To know that my story was fighting it out with some high-quality writing makes me feel…well, it makes me feel.
Shortlisted writers don’t get a mention on the website, though, that honour goes only to those who have climbed a level higher. But, if you want to have a look at the shortlist, to check if I’m lying, you can click on these words and have a scroll.
